TEGN CONTEST: The messenger

My entry for the the #tegncontest by Even Amundsen. It was really fun to make my contribution to the universe he created. Enjoy!

Exhausted, Sydia flopped down on a strump to rest for a moment.

She and her travelling companion had been going deeper and deeper into the forest for the last two days, yet it would take another one for them to reach the first stop on their journey: the waterfall.

They needed to get there as soon as possible as the message Sydia had been entrusted with was of the highest importance. Lives were at stake.

Of course, Sydia wasn't your average messenger, she was a brave and strong pixie, undoubtedly the fastest and the most discreet among her peers. But even her needed to rest from time to time.

Unfortunately, there was no time to take a nap. Something was getting nearer by the second, not deers nor wolves, but something way bigger...
